Opening Event 2026

Wednesday, October 14
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Temple B'nai Abraham - Livingston

Opening Event marks the start of our year, where we come together to learn more about Tovah and the work we do in the community, connect with old friends and meet some new ones and experience our amazing raffle.

Tovah is thrilled to welcome New York Times Best-Selling Author and Actress Jill Kargman who will share Tales and Anecdotes from Living her (Jewish) Life, including stories about her books, movie and life as an influencer.   She will be in conversation with Andrea Lavinthal, Executive Director for Special Integrated Projects at People.

You know Jill from the tv series ODD MOM OUT (now available on Peacock), based on her book Momzillas, and other best-sellers including Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut, the Right Address and Sprinkle Glitter On My Grave.   Her new film INFLUENCED, about a momfluencer who is miserable, debuted in the spring and is available on streaming platforms everywhere.

Guests at our VIP reception will have a chance to meet and take a photo with Jill!  VIP reception tickets are available to Tovah members only.  Space is limited, so sign up today.
